Bio
Jade Richards was born in Birmingham, England and grew up in the inner city in a place called Ladywood, in a single parent home. She is the 6th of eight children and the Aunty and God Mother to many children! Jade gave her life to Christ at the age of 17 and quickly started to hit stages and pulpits around the UK communicating the truth of Life and The Gospel through the art of Spoken Word Poetry. It wasn’t long before Jade began to lead youth groups and preach at her church on Sundays. In 2017 Jade answered the life changing call to move to the United States as a missionary to reach the Hip Hop Culture for Christ.
Since her teenage years, Jade has been able to grace many stages across the United Stated and United Kingdom in different capacities; A Spoken Word Poet, Event Host, Speaker and Teacher. She has brought the Gospel of Jesus Christ to people in places from Churches to Prisons and everything in between! She has hosted events in front of audiences as little as 50 and as big as 5,000. Some of these events include; One In Christ Women’s Conference, Hustle Pray Eat: The Conference and Big Ticket Music Festival.
Jade has over a decade of experience in Radio Broadcasting much of which was gained when working in Radio Production for the British Broadcasting Company (BBC) for stations Radio 1 and 1xta. She also hosted her very own Drive-Time Radio Show for local station “Newstyle FM”. Using this experience, Jade created “Hustle Pray Eat: The Podcast” which has allowed her and her Co-Host Mark “The BaddGuy” Evans to motivate an international audience to Work Hard, Seek God and Invest in themselves and other people. Jade has a passion for bringing the Gospel message to all forms of media and stages. Currently, Jade serves at The EDGE Urban Church on the teaching and preaching team as well as being the Communications Director.
